A MIDI Controller is a device that is used for adjusting sound parameters in MIDI instruments.
The most precise control one can get with sliders, which are de-facto standard in professional sound mixers.
However, professional mixers are not a viable solution for everybody – due to their high price tag.
To address this problem, we are developing a software that will not only be fully affordable even for those on budget, but at the same time provide the peciseness of a hardware sliders. Moreover, it will make it possible to give control over the same MIDI instrument simultaneously to many people, regardless of their location.
The idea of a Wireless MIDI Controller is to use a networked device, e.g. a phone or tablet, to send commands to your MIDI instruments over the network.
Wireless MIDI Controller uses a browser as a user interface, which means users don’t need to install any applications. The controls are rendered by the browser and can be operated by touch.
For compatibility with legacy devices, keyboard/mouse input will be supported, as well.
We think that such a solution will be of interest to many, due to its high usability and a low price tag.
